"Since mid-July the weather conditions have been quite variable with alternating periods of beautiful sunshine hut also localised rains.
The grapes continue to ripen normally, and the pressure from disease seen in the early summer remains contained.
Today we expect the harvest to start after September the 15th in the earliest ripening areas, hut the vast majority of the vineyard will be from September 18th -20th• The expected volume remains low.
Although it is difficult to determine the future style of Beaujolais wines, we believe that it will be particularly primeur style this year with aromas of tangy red berries, such as red currants and cherries."
